Hi folks,
we are planning a System of our R/3-TEST-System with our R/3-PROD. At the same time we want to refresh BW-TEST with BW-PROD and APO-Test with APO-PROD.
After the copies, the logical system names will of course be changed to the TEST-System names. But I assume that all Source-System dependent objects in BW will not work anymore (e.g. InfoSources, InfoPackages,...).
Does anyone has experience in this kind of stuff - and can give me some hints where to look at. I am not a Basis-guy - and our Basis-guys are more in the R/3-things than in BW.

Use transaction BDLS to covert logical systems. Also refers to oss notes which are very self explanatory

I have done replication and regeneration of each datasource, for the situation that you described. I did get API error, when I tried to load the data.
Anyway, i want to try BDLS, when I returned to work on Jan 5.
