Question:
Hi CHC,EL,Stephen,ALL
any one worked on BDS.
I need to restrict a user for creating only 2 documents on WEB
(Query-->Context menu-->Create Document, only 2)
Also what r the Authorizations available for these documents as i would like only certain users to EDIT these Documents.
Note :These document is Plain text document created on WEB ,and not the documents attached thru DOCUMENT WORKBENCH

Sorry, I don't know much about the BDS. Its only 'To Do' list to look at sometime in the future. (And at the rate I am going, it'll be a long time. )

Try auth object S_BDS_DS.
This provides restrictions on create/change, etc. It also limits the BW Services for document creation.
