Good afternoon,
I am on BW 3.1 with 4.6C R/3. I have a custom LIS Infostructure (S662) that we would like to load into BW. This structure was copied from S062 and enhanced. Do I need to create a custom CUBE in BW to move this data into BW or is there a way to generate a the Info Objects and BW Cube from the LIS definition?

Brain,
you need to create an Infosource first..
So check out any of these (infosource, Infoobject catlogue or Infocube ) that gives you maximum number of infoobjects that you require . Then create an infosouce .
To do that go to...
In RSA12 transaction ..
create an infosource with Z name and open your infosource and Click on "Transfer" and select "Template" then in the popup select any one of these three (infosource, Infoobject catlogue or Infocube )
You can move any infoobjects from any of the above..
If you have some custom fields .. then you need to create manually..
Once you done with your infosource ..it is easy to create a custom cube/ods based on the infosource..
