Question:
When SAP comes out with the latest and greatest Support Package, should we make a rule to always apply it ASAP or wait when an error shows up and then see the SP would correct the error and then apply it?

Answer:
We wait a few SP's behind to make sure most all of the errors and kinks are found.
I have been burned by being too close to the latest SP and have had to wait for fixes which has caused delays. I would recomend to stay 2-3 SP's behind what SAP has released.
Unless you have an urgent need for a feature change/addition, but even then I would make sure you really need it.
