System ignores settings for packet size in table ROIDOCPRMS

Question: Hello SAPFans!

We are in a situation were we want to use large data packets in a CSV file upload. In the IMG we maintain the table ROIDOCPRMS to have a packet size of 200000 rows.

However, the system ignores this setting. If you look in the infopackage (Scheduler -> DataS. default data transfer) the system max setting is only "Maximum size of a data packet in rows = 1000".
Hence, the packet size is only 1000 in the actual upload no matter how much we try to override this.

We are on BW 2.1C.

Does anyone know how to get around this problem??

Best regards,
Samson

Answer:
You need to change 'Maximum size of a data packet in rows' in the InfoPackage as well. You can increase the data packet size in InfoPackage up to the packet size value you put in table ROIDOCPRMS (system wide).

Becareful not to confuse between Data Packet size in Bytes (in table ROIDOCPRMS) and Data Packet size in rows (In InfoPackage).

Regards,
