Hi!
I want to add just one field from a table which is not present in my datasource.I want to create a generic datasource with just that one table.Plz tell me how to proceed.when i go to rso2 and give a name in the transactional datasources and ask it to create .In the next screen i gave my app component and in the space for table/view ,when i give my table name ,it gives me an error saying that it is a invalid structure.let me know the fault plz.

Hi ,
First of all create the table or view activate it.
Once it is done u could use the tab extraction from view and create a DS.
