Data loading Problem - Headache !

Question: Hi All Gurus,

I am very new to BW, hope you all experts can give me some insight on this problem.

Okay, during the data loading, I check the status on MONITOR. I experience that the loading ended up in yellow light. On the detail tab, I drill down the TRANSFER node, which is with Yellow light, there are a lot of entries like :

Data Packet 1 : Arrived in BW ; Processing : Selected number does not agree with transferred numbers...

The data loading is stuck in the middle and never go adhead. Later on, when I check the loading status again, it ends up in TIME OUT error.

Does anyone know the meaning of this message and how to correct this problem?

Thanks a lot

Allie.

Answer:
1) The timeout settings may be increased in the system parameters. But this would require restart of the system, a momentary loss of the system. If you are on 3.0B, you can set the timeout setting in the infopackage itself
OR
2) Check the settings in the table ROIDOCPRMS (hope I got it correct) for the number of processes, packet size etc.

Answer:
Check your version of QRFC in the R/3 system. (SMQ1 / execute / version) There was a problem for a while with version 42 - some records got sent twice.

Answer:
If in 3.0B and a previous error dump occured. We had not enough table space. The second time you do the load, it won't dump again, but the traffic light stays yellow. Ask your SAPADMIN to increase the tablespaces and try a reload.

Hello SR
I know that you can change the timeout parameter, rdisp/max_wprun_time in BW through RZ11 but I have not seen the same option in the InfoPackage settings in 30B.

Would appreciate it if you could tell me where it is in the InfoPackage.

Answer:
i have this error and raised to SAP OSS .. they advised to have a latest patch .. even latest patch we have this problem .. It is related to qrfc ..I used to do re execute the load which should solve the problem. If it is delta need to change qm action in to red and save the same and the load once again.
