I have just been given the task to review our existing Finance schedule in BW. We our using BC to extract the data including 0CO_OM_WBS_1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, 0CO_OM_NWA_1, ZCO_OM_OPA_1 etc. I have searched through SAPs website to no avail to find documentation on this business content as I want to know which tables in R/3 it uses.
Ques 1, Which tables do these extractors get there data from?
Ques 2, Is there any delta processing I could use as we are using full loads every night.

Hi,
1. For "Z"CO_OM_OPA_1, it seems a generic extractor & datasource which starting with "Z". You may check the logic of the extractor if it can provide a phantom delta extraction.
2. For 0CO_OM_WBS_1-5, they're BCT extractor and datasource and some of the data , you can use other delta datasource instead.
Just depends on your R/3 system :-
2.1) for actual data, you can use 0CO_OM_WBS_6;
2.2) for commitments, you can use 0CO_OM_WBS_7 if R/3 is 4.7 or above;
2.3) for buget data, you may use 0CO_OM_WBS_8;
Unfortunately, for plan data in 0CO_OM_WBS_1, statistics KF in 0CO_OM_WBS_4 and data in 0CO_OM_WBS_5, there'll no alternative delta datasource from BCT till in technical speaking.
From my point of view, these plan/budget data should be extracted from R/3 Monthly instead of daily extractions, I'm right?

Try help.sap.com --> SAP Netweaver --> BI Content. The DataSources you are interested in are under Financials --> Controlling --> Overhead Cost Controlling. The DataSource documentation usually specifies the source tables.
