When i try to trigger a custom workflow using the function mmodule 'swe_event_create' iam not able to do despite giving all he parameters. Can any body please tell what are all the pre requisits for doing this.
I have creaed a custom event, activated it. deleagted the object.
my requirement is to call the workflow in a loop using this function module.

i tried using the commit work statement. i am not able tp trgger.
i have tried by execution the FMs swe_event_create and swe_event_create_in_update_task, but the work flow is not getting triggered.
some body please help.

Are you sure it is not getting triggered? Check transaction SWUD.
First: Problem task does not start -> Determine instances for task
There you will see if the WF started but did not made it to the Workplace.
If the list is empty, check the event trace (turn it on first)
