Question:
we enhanced the 2LIS_13_VDITM with a field, wrote the code to fill it in the ZXRSAU01, filled the setup tables and tested it in RSA3 : everything looks ok (the new field is filled).
However when we extract data with an init infopackage, all data comes from R3, except the new field: it stays empty (even in PSA), so there is no mapping problem...
Any ideas, 'caus i'm all out?

check the datasource, field is perhaps flagged "hidden for BW" or "only known in user-exit"

these flags are not the cause of our problems: they are not set.
(think you are correct: if any of those 2 was set, the field wouldn't show up in the RSA3)

I experienced the same thing. Couldn't explain it or why this worked but I replicated the datasource and reactivated the transfer rules and then the new field was recognized. Again, I can't explain why that worked because I'm sure I had done it once because the new field was listed in the transfer rules.
Just out of curiousity, what version of BW are you running? We saw this in a sandbox for 3.0B.

Hi all,
just heard from the customer ( iwasn't at his site at the moment of the problems) that the problem was solved : problems was ... that they were using different selections in the infopackage and rsa3!
And they didnt bother to check on document level, so they only noticed it after 3 days.
