Hi all
i am trying to create a query in my development box. I go to RRMX , and choose Create Query , in the following box , infoprovider section , i cant see 0material , i need to create a query on material master .
However , when i try to do the same thing in production , i can see 0material in the infoprovider and am able to create query using it .
now i am confused cause i wanted to create the query first development and then transport it to production . I added some fields to my 0material in development and loaded some data ..
can anyone guide me as to why i cant see 0material for query creation in development ?
Answer:
Presumably you want to use 0Material infoprovider as datasource for your query. This is fine if 0Material is defined as an infoprovider in Dev but if you never created a query on 0material in dev before then you have hit the 'new' icon immediately after choosing the 'query' option after starting up your bex analyser. then you will see it offered to you as an infoprovider in InfoAreas - if not you won't see it.
