Question:
Hi Guys
I'm desperate for help on the following;
I have loaded master and transaction data in cube a costcenter actuals cube. when I tried to run a query and a workbook it came back with the error no application data found. There is defineatly data in the cube.
Wen I tried to run the query in rsrt and check teh technical settings I found the following: Infoprovider last data change: 00.000.00.000
When I check the cache settings it gave me an error for: cache persistant logical file name_BW_OLAP_cache>sysid parameter missing.
Can anyone tell me whether this could be the reasn for no data output when running the query or what the messages means and what I need to do please.

Thanks for your reply.
I have checked the cube and the data is defineatly there, the cube is active aswell but I still have the problem.
It just can't read the data when I run the query for some reason.
Where do I need to check the data activation in the management of the cube?

right-mouse click
Manage
goto the Request tab
check the 2nd column (Request for Reporting Available) - there should be a little icon in there

I have cheked it but I don't seem to have an icon in the request for reporting available tab.

Answer:
No, just go to the "activate" button within the infoporvider management and activate the request.
Also you should check if you do have the authorization to do reports (at first I could generate reports but not execute them)

Info cube right click choose manage
inside choose reauest tab strip
choose all reauest or doulble click on reauest and choose Reporting available and QM is also OK.
if still ur not getting rise same question again and eat our heads.

click the Execute button
wait until the job is finished
