Question:
Hi,
Thanks again to Stephen for answering my previous question.
Where is the best place for documentation for RSRT and RSRTRACE
for v2.0? (If the best is for v3.0, I can use that and ignore what
is not available in v2.0)
Also, it seems to me like performance statistics on each query
are found in table RSDDSTAT even for queries for which I
did not turn statistics in 'RSA1 - Tools - BW Statistics for Infocubes',
or which are not traced.
Am I correct, or could there be another reason for which
RSDDSTAT seems to collect stats. on each query?
Thanks,
DF
Answer:
Ive analysed RSDDSTAT quite intensively and never seen records for cube that are not turned on for stats.could other people have turned on stats for other cubes temporarily then turned it off ?
the history would remain in rsddstat.
Al.
Answer:
Hi Al. Do you know of a way to maintain the Rssdstat table. I want to retain only certain data ranges for reporting/analysis purposes and do not want the table to grow with obsolete data. Thanks a lot for your answer.
Best regards,
David
Answer:
why not limit your query with a filter on date range you are wanting to report on instead of messing with deleting records from the tables?
just a thought.

Hi David,
At the bottom of 'RSA1 - Tools - BW Statistics for Infocubes' there is a rubbish bin icon that cunningly conceals a window that lets you selectively delete based on a date range. (Will they ever learn the importance of good dialogue design?)
Answer:
These topics are covered in some detail in the BW360 course. I think there is documentation under service.sap.com/bw -> Performance that covers RSRT.
Answer:
Hello,
There are several tables you can obtain the query-cubes-aggregates-statistics from. I recommend you to load the technical content so all the information is well stored and you can access to it thru the tech. content queries.
There's large documentation about tech. content in service.sap.com or in sap help.
