Question:
Hi,
The cube checks without any problems. There is a 4 character
company code characteristic. However, when executing a
simply query (One characteristic for row and one for column),
the message "Abort SID 5 for characteristic 0COMP_CODE could
not be converted" and BEx aborts.
The data loads without any probems.
My Comp. Code SID table appears to be fine.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:
Run RSRV and analyze the InfoObject to see if there are any issues with it. (In RSRV there is a button to analyze or repair the InfoObject).
