Hi
I am trying to express field X as % of field Y and this is ok except when I am dealing with subtotals.
The % field totals all the %'s but I want it to express the subtotals as a % also.
Any ideas

Strange behavior, indeed.
Did you define the % in a formula ? And, if yes, how did you define "Calculate Results" in properties of the formula ? Should be "nothing defined".
