No Changes sinve last - but still need to replicate?

Question: Hi All,
This is very weird.

WE have DEV, TEST and PROD systems for BW.

We installed BusinessContent DataSourceson R/3 DEV and then trasnported to TEST and PROD systems. After that on the BW side
Business Content is installed for the standard infoobjects and later the datasources are replicated and then created transfer rules and activated transfer structure and uplodaed the data successfully.

Later, due to some reasons, we need to do the full upload once again. So, we reschduled the same infopackage again and this time it failed with a error message that the DataSource need to replicated.
DataSource 0GLACCOUNT_TEXT time stamp is BW is 5/11/03 and the time stamp in the source system is 01/04/03. So, I went and replcaited the datasources and then rescheduled the package and it ran well.

At this point, one question, even though there are no changes either to the datasource or the infosource, why I had to replciated the datasoures again.

Another thing is, coming to the production, did the replication of the datasources, and still it complains that the "datasource in BW time stamp is 5/11/03 and in the source system is 01/04/03. DataSource need to be replicated". So did the replication again, still the same meessage.

What else and differnt I should do in case of production. Production is closed for changes and is in the production mode.

Thanks in advacne.

Answer:
-Gary, you should think about registering yourself. this way you could edit your posts instead of having to post a reply with additional info-

did you think about reactivating the transfer rules (by reactivating the infosource) after your replication ?

Answer:
Hi CHC,
Thanks. IN PROD how to reactivate the transfer rules. Please advise.

Do I need to reactivate in DEV and transport? Also, In the DEV, I did not reactivate the transfer rules. Once I replicated and scheduled an infopackage, it worked.
Thanks
