Question:
When trying to search in the metadata repository, I receive an information message stating "Search engine not fully installed". If I then press the green tick to make it disappear and proceed with the search, the system is blocked for a (very) long time.
Any idea why and how I can solve this ?
I am on version 3.0A (but forgot to check the SP level, and the system is stuck at the moment... )

Ok, I know what is the meaning of the message (keep in mind I have some experience, if you try to help me), but what I don't understand is WHY I receive it NOW ?!

Well, the same message I receive every time I use the Metadata Repository (this "The search engine..."), but the other one is new to me.
Normally this is a message you receive if you want to customzie something in your production / quality system, isn't it?
But why then receive it in a development BW.
Give me the search term you used an I will try it in my development system too.

When you reach this message, the help button explain exactly what to do to solve the problem...
It also says the search is only on technical name, which is what I needed, so no problem; but it takes ages before returning something... (I don't know about the result, I always kill the session before...)
Regarding the transport message, I partially understood it. In fact I am with a training system (not a true DEV) that is considered as productive system, it seems. But still I was only doing a search, not an activate ?!
(object was cube 0LES_C13, but the point is not there, I believe)
