We just upgraded to 3.1 from 2.0b. I added a new field to the ODS object. First it prompted me to enable bex reporting for the field to be visible so I enabled BeX reporting and activated the ODS object and the transfer rules.
WHen I goto the change mode for the ODS object, the field is present, however, when I look at the database table for the ODS object using se16, the new field I added is not present. Also, it is not present in the Update rules for the ODS object.
I added this field using the same process I have always done in 2.0b and it always is added to the database table except this time. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Shedrock,
I am facing the same problem in Ver 3.0B. But I think, I was earlier able to add a new field in the ODS before applying patches 7 to 11.
