Hi,
When we lauch a BW web enabled report, a popup window will appear for user to logon to BW server.
In order to make the logon to BW server invisible to the user, is there a way to suppress this popup logon window? may be by:
1. making use of the parameter setting in the URL?
2. calling a BAPI/API?
3. ???

Answer:
i remember from my experience with SAP workplace, that you can include username and password in the service you call. the name of the service is in your URL. you have to adjust the service file on the server, ask your basis consultant for more info.
beware of the risk: by loosening the security (username/password)everyone can see the information (as long as you are not on an intranet).
