I am informed by fellow sapfan that we can use variable in query condition definition. However I am not getting icon for variable creation and am only getting this in exception creation. Is there any setup required for getting the icon in Condition definition. We are in BW 3.0b SP 8.

The icon appears when you select the 'variable entry' check-box at the bottom of the conditions list.
