Hello,
Iam in the process of creating process chains.
I created a chain, variant and selected one infopackage from the process
types and dragged into the right side under process chain.
Now when i go to Menu>GoTo>Checking view, it displays the following error.
" PROCESS HAS NO PREDECESSOR"
Can any one explain what iam really missing here?
The Infopackage i selected is loading data into PSA. Also i want to
delete the contents of the ODS before loading tha data which i want to
select as the second process type. This second one should start after loading data into PSA.
Any help is highly appreciated.

How to connect start and process ?
Answer:
Just click on the start process and drag a connection and release it on the appropriate process. A line will be drawn between the processes and a dialogue appear where you can select which type of event vill trigger the start of the next process, in this case probably a "green light" from the start process.
