Is there a similar way to know, what are the transports that I need to have to setup a new system from the exisitng system. Like for example, you will know this info for tables and programs version management - similarly is there a way you will know how you can do this with the BW objects. For example: the genric datasource that you have created in BW environemnt. It undewent several changes and all are trnasported succesfully to PROD. Now suddenly a new QA box need to be setup, we need to move the transports to QA system. Now looking at the queue, as this is a new shop, we are unable to identify what transports are needed for this. So, if can look at the object and can know what transports were created on this object. that would be of great help.

We always take a copy of the respective production system... seems a lot faster and easier.
In your case I think I would transport them all...
