Question:
We are in process of applying patches to our BW 3.0B. We are at patch level 7. Is any one has gone through recently applying latest patches? If you can share you experiences with us greatly appreciated.

I would recomend staying a few patches behind (unless there is something you need or which you find is broken which a newer patch addresses).
In my opinion the last several patches for us (Starting w/ SP 10) have ended up breaking more then they have fixed. Definately read through the note for each SP to find all the "gotchas".
Also make sure when you are patching up, that you are also patching up the binaries to the latest versions. Not having the binaries up to the right patch level can lead to more problems w/ the support packages b/c they expect a certain patch level, or there are problems post SP w/ certain kernal versions.
Being a little behind in SP's gives SAP time to flush out all of the post SP problems.
