Question:
Hi,
In my case the eliminations are performed per one hierarchy. However for reporting purposes we also need to be able to use a different hierarchies where the companies are grouped according to whether they are Sales Companies or not.
I see that I cannot create two hierarchies in the Company Master data. In such a case what is the way out. I tried creating a BW hierarchy on Company to reflect that but am not sure how to pick up the right elimination entries.

Question: Would you need to run eliminations for each hierarchy separately or is eliminations posted against each company, and therefore it's rollup on the hierarchy is irrelevant?
Answer:
Sias,
If all of the cons units are in each hierarchy, eliminations need only be executed for one of the hiearachies, as these are posted at the company level.
However, for consolidation of investments, these tasks must be executed for each hierarchy seperately.
