I am using qualifier 03 for UPC code. I have maintained UPC in material master and is putting this UPC code in segment E1EDP19 with qualifier 03. However, system is still saying that material does not exist.
When I change the segment E1EDP19 to have actual material (and use any qualifier - 001 or 002 or 003), system works fine. Basically, qualifier is not having any effect on sales order creation.
Is there any setting I have to do to make qualifier work. I need to put UPC code.

What do you mean by UPC code ??? Qualifer 003 is used with EAN number...
You can implement user exit EXIT_SAPLVEDA_001 to find the material numbre from the UPC code....
