Hi Gurus,
I need to create the Opening Balance in a Target Version (B) from the End Balances of Source Version (A). I want to ensure that all the data including the Elimination entries etc. are copied and that I do not have to do any of the Consolidation Functions again.
I tried to do the copy function to copy the last period of last Fiscal Year from Version A to Version B.
However it seems the copy version only copies the Local Currency and not Group Currency. Am I doing something wrong ?

Answer:
The BCS system will not allow the copy of elimination records, but only records with posting level 00 through 12. It is therefore necessary to execute elimination tasks for each version and group currency.
