CIF Interface - 2 Different SAP R/3 with Single APO Box

Question: Hi,

We are planning to integrate two different SAP R/3 Boxes to a Single APO box. This is purley due to operational reasons in our project.Both are going to use different integration models. In this regard I have the following questions.

1.Is it possible to CIF two different SAP R/3 with a single APO box?
2.Will this create any inconsistencies ?
3.What are the pros and cons for this approach?
4.Has anyone done this before?

If you can throw some light, it will be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer:
1.Is it possible to CIF two different SAP R/3 with a single APO box?
--> it is possible. But, i think you should set the different R/3 into different BSG(business system group), if for example:
you have material number 1001 in both R/3(s) ,
1001 in R/3 -1 may be a harmer.
1001 in R/3 -2 may be a engine. --> different materials
for detail, you can refer to the help.

2.Will this create any inconsistencies ?
I think will not. APO is designed to support multiple R/3 connection
