I have IS RETAIL training but I have not been taught how to use rack jobbers and the SAP-POS interface.
First, regarding the maintenance of rack jobbers. Should I or should I not maintain the purchasing view of the rack jobber material( a consultant told me that this would make the article as standard and not a consignment material). I am told that I should create its purchasing view through me11 inforecord. However, If I do that. How can the system find the vendor assigned to the material?
Also, regarding the need for extending the field catalog(for the vendor). Can I have details on how to do this? Should I use CALP-LIFNR or RMMW1-LIFNR?
Lastly, regarding the pricing determination during Pos inbound (via aggregated sales), why is it that pricing records that use access fields on material/item level(i.e. material pricing group) cannot be found?

Rack Jobbers:
It depends on your business requirement. If Inventory Management is active for the rack jobber merchandise, you can include the rack jobber merchandise in most logistics functions including purchasing view and PIR. However, this may cost you more time, for example, in master data maintenance.
POS interface:
Discuss with your technical consultant.

Answer:
If you dont maintain Vendors inventory you dont need to create Purch view. Btb, you dont need to select the lisitng view aslo.
When you do Rackjobbing listing, you maintain Vendor /Article and assign to Stores. So the link is laready there.
As Ssyrein said, its all depends on your business requirement.
