APO Scheduling- Time Zone Conversion Problem

Question: Hello All,

We are using SCM 4.1- APO GATP module.

Scheduling is done in APO.

In standard R/3 there is no time zone conversion logic and everything is calculated starting from time 00:00:00

Whereas APO calculates everything in UTC and sends the results to R/3 as follows
Requested Delivery Date based on the local time zone of the Ship to Party
and Material availability Date and Goods Issue date based on the PLants time zone.

Due to this conversion back and forth between the two systems, the dates are getting shifted 1 day backwards or forwards.

Both the systems are behaving as they are designed.

This problem will be faced by everyone.

My question is HAS anyone implemented any user exits to stop this functionality or made any design change.
If so please let me know.
Regards
Paul

Answer:
Hello Paul,

Yes, this is a major problem for everybody. I have some notes in my blog on a workaround
