Our CRM system is integrated with R/3 and we are downloading the
products from R/3 to CRM,If I turn on the leading zeros indicator in CRM
, and display the products will it display the true leading zeros of the
materials or will it fill up the zeros upto length 40(product id length).

YES, the system will display leading 0 up to 40 characters.
If in R/3 you have product with significant leading zero, you have to check the flag 'Save Lexicographically'.

Thanks for the prompt reply,In our R/3 system leading 0, save lexico
graphically are selected.But in crm system none of these flags are selected ,however this not a problem because we don't have products like 123,00123.The problem is some materials which are only numeric and have two leading 0's, when we downloaded them in crm the two leading 0's are not getting displayed,we need those two leading zero to be displayed.
As you said , if we select leading 0's indicator in CRM, it will display upto lenght 40 filling 0's,which we don't want (we need only two leading 0's that are comming from R/3)
If we have to select save lexicographical option,as there are already products downloaded into CRM , we can't do this.
Please suggest a way out for this, don't say I don't know....
