Question:
I have 2 outbound order notification interfaces:
- SD: KU has LS as a partner function
- MM: LI does NOT have LS as a partner function, so I used VN.
I have configured a new message type for both SD and MM using the same logic (except as stated above). At creation of a sales order (VA01), output is determined (i.e. I get a yellow traffic light in Extras->Output->Header->Edit)
At creation of a purchase order (ME21N), no output is determined (i.e. nothing is shown in Goto->Messages)
. . Can anyone point me in the right direction to get output determined for purchase orders?
. . If required, how do I 'enable' LS for the LI partner type?

To answer my own question:
- message type: SD used ORDRSP, MM used ORDERS
- partner function: SD: LS is for partner type "KU" (customer) only, VN (vendor) is for partner type "LI" (vendor)
