Question:
Is there a work around when using the shopping cart for internal goods - to avoid getting the error message "Material has not been created for plant xxx"?
In R/3 our users normally uses a search help that includes PLANT and there a PID usually makes sure that the user only finds materials that have been created for his plant.
Is it "simple" to add the plant as a search term in "Find product"?
Has anyone else had this problem - and what have you chosen to do?

Hi,
Yes you have to replace the std shlp exit BBP_F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_PRODUCT_GEN in the search help bbph_product with ur own custom FM exit wherein you will fetch only the materials for teh plant to whic the Requestor belongs to!!!All thsi si to be done cos we dont have the PLANT concept in SRM..there are no std repositories in SRM weherin you can fetch this PLANT info in Link with the Corresponding Materials!!!
