Hi guys,
I receive a data file but SAP always pops up the error message EA 703 (IDoc data records are inital - internal error). It seems that SAP cannot read the segment names. When I create a file manually with exactly the same data it works fine.
Any ideas?

if you use ftp, make sure that you receive the file with ascii mode !!!

you are right. I use ftp but the file is in ASCII. I am realy lost right now and don't know what to do or where to search....

This was my first action. Nothing in there.
I think the problem is the format but I have no idea or tools to compare my two files. Probably there is an invisible information or so. Or I have to forget about my idea to create my own IDoc file via excel.
