A possible Sales Force Automation solution

Question: We have started developing for a client a Sales Force Automation solution.Since we had a short time, we used EVB which is free licensing use.We only had to get a very good porgammer in EVB ,GPRS and wireless. The application loads up the data as a comma-delimited text file which is picked up by an ABAP program.
See the PDA screens on http://www.megainfo.com.my/pocketpc.htm

Answer:
Hi Melvin,

Very interesting the solution. Could you send more details? I am sure everybody will appreciate it .
I would have a few questions:
- Is the backend SAP CRM ?
- Were the surveys done with Survey Suite from CRM ?
- Are all pricing conditions downloaded from CRM ?
- Have you tried using Mobile Engine (to have only an SAP solution)?
- What type of PDA device is being used ?

Best regards,
Mihai

Answer:
That looks pretty good, but I wonder about the overall management of the solution (troubleshooting), latency, etc.

Although a commercial product, the solution below is not expensive since it has an environment license and can be used for a LOT more than just salesforce. Take a look at:

http://www.amprofessionals.com/keyareas/MobileComputing.html

This is SAP native, Java apps are created in a screen painter within SAP to the screen size of the device needed, runs on PocketPC and Palm too as well as other devices.
