When I transmit sales order through ale to another sap system
then how one should track at receiving end the order no. which is transmitted ?
Will received sales order have same sales order number as that of transmitted one?

Hi,
perhaps I did'nt understand your problem but:
When the customer sends his purchase order (MM) to his vendor, the vendor processes the incoming IDoc (via ALE) to his sales order (SD). Both documents do not have the same number, but there is a reference field in the header section of the sales order.
SAP R/3 can interchange these both references and even update the purchase order (confirmation) by the ALE-supported process named VMI (vendor managed inventory).
