Notes in Planning Books

Question: Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to extract the notes that have been entered from within a planning book? I would like to be able to download a complete list of notes, rather than getting them one at a time

Does anyone know where they are stored in APO?

Thanks for your help.

Answer:
Hi

You can find information about the notes within the planning book within the sap service marketplace (Note 571629).

"In interactive planning, you can define a note for each cell on your data view. The header information of the notes is saved in an anchor table generated for each planning area. The table names are composed of three parts. The first part is always /1APO/D, then the name of the client and finally a six-digit number from a number range object (/SAPAPO/PA), so the complete name may read /1APO/D000000161, for example. The name of the planning area is given in the short description for the table. Information about the planning version, the key figure, the characteristics and the period indicator is stored in the anchor table. The anchor table does not contain any navigation attributes. In the administration of Demand Planning, there is a consistency check for the notes table (menu option 'Extras - Consistency check'). Here the system checks to see whether the characteristics in the assigned planning object structure are identical to the characteristics in the anchor table. The option "Clean up inconsistency" means regenerating the table with a complete loss of data. The anchor table is only generated when you first create a note in the planning area."
