In reading the "The Best Practices for mySAP CRM Documentation CD" for 3.0 50 052 942, it states in the Overview section that "Therefore, you require the configuration CD in addition to the documentation CD"
Here are my questions:
Do you have to order this configuration CD or can you just use the combination of the latest CRM configuration guide and CRM Master Guide to implement CRM?
If you must use this CD, does it cost anything to order? Or is it free to customers and partners like the Best Practices Documentation CD?

In addition to the previous question I asked, is the "importing of the SAP
Practices Add-on" the same as the using the SAP Best Practices Configuration CD?

when you order BP for SAP CRM, you normally get 2 cds : one is the documentation cd, the other one is the configuration cd. You have one dedicated version of BP for each version of SAP CRM
The configuration cd contains configurations sets, which are "transport orders" you upload on your SAP CRM server. You have technical prereq before to upload these sets
Normally, the use is free. Yet, i'm not sure. It's better to ask the SAP Sales rep
