I'm running a SAP BC 46 and receiving files via ftp listener that should generate, via a service, an invoice into SAP. This files could be also quite large (3/4 Mb or so); I'm getting into many crash of the BC...why??? It's so unstable, or I need to configure something better? The server in which is installed is a single processor with 1 GB of ram, that also hold the SAP system, test versione( with no user, BC apart)....

Hi,
If you use package WmEDI, then you should configure it to handle large document with editing the file: ServerDirectory\packages\WmEDI\config\properties.cnf
and adding EDIBigDocThreshold=n with n is a number of bytes over which the EDI Module considers a document to be large.

Do you get any error messages ?
You have to be carefull if you are using flow to do any processing that you clean up any stuctures and fields that have contained the document.
As these can soon build up in memory.
However 4.6 is fairly stable so perhaps it is something else ...
What settings do you have for memory usage ?
