Question:
hi IS Oil gurus
we are implementing IS Oil down Stream...here we are using Silo Management. IN QCI ( Qnantity Conversion Interface), can somebody explain the fields TEST TEMPERATURE & TEST DENSITY and their impact in the calculation procedures. Transaction code O3QCITEST.
Thanks in advance..
nisha
Answer:
The test temp on the right is the temp that the lab use when the batch or material was tested and the density is the density that was calculated using the ASTM tables based on the temp for that product or quntity conversion group
The temp on the left is the temp that a stock controlers use when performing a movement in SAP.
The metered quantity and temp uses the test temp and density to converted to quantity back to L15 or 60 ambient
Hope this helps

Answer:
hi...
jef is rite here...i just wana add something...test temperature is the lab temperature , the temperature on which the calibartion has done. Material temperauture is the observed temperature, the temperature at which the movement occurs. test density is the observed density which finally calculates the base density by reading conversion group.

Answer:
Thanks for info.
I wanted to know:
What is ASTM default?
How this is maintained? Transaction code?
How frequently it is maintained? Impact?
Thanks & Regards
