Hello,
I added the component for broadcast messaging into profile - what shall I do to activate the possibility to send a message? Is it a configuration of action box or something similar?
I didn't find any documentation about that. If you had more luck, please let me know.

These are steps for installing Broadcast messaging:
- installing Broadcast server
- Customizing CIC for Broadcast = transaction CRMC_CIC_BROAD
- asign into CIC profile broadcasting profile defined in step 2
- activating frameworks for broadcasting transaction CRMC_CIC_FW_MAINTAIN on the position 3, if there is SCRIPT_DISP on this position overwrite it. If you would like to have scripting also turned on together with broadcasting choose in transaction CRMC_CIC_FW_MAINTAIN in unvisible components HIDDEN SCRPT.
You can test it either in the CIC environment slot under the telephony or from your browser by typing:
For the supervisor:
http://CRMSERVER:8080/sap/bc/bsp/sap/bsp_broadcast/abapapplet.htm?login_option=supervisor&profile=BROADCASTPROFILE
For the agent:
http://CRMSERVER:8080/sap/bc/bsp/sap/bsp_broadcast/abapapplet.htm?login_option=supervisor&profile=BROADCASTPROFILE
Where CRMSERVER and BROADCASTPROFILE are names for server and broadcastprofile.
Try to play with versions of Java environment

Does it have to be a separate Physical server or could it be set up as a logical server? If separate, could you explain why?

I still have troubles with Broadcast Messaging. I installed it with Tomcat web server. When using the browser window - the applet starts ok but trying to use it in CIC0 is a trap - only white window appears. The HTML source of this window seems to be ok but the window remains white. Can anybody help me?
The second question is about functionality of it all. Is it common behaviour of the broadcasting that the agent see only the messages that were created while he had the window open? Because when I write a message in supervisor mode and then connect to a broadcasting server as an agent - the message is not visible.
I think that it could be written in ABAP much better and the whole component is not very good.
