Question:
We have an interface with an external system that sends WMMBXY IDOCs for material movements. Now we are upgrading our R/3 from 3.1I to 4.6C. When the sending system sends an IDOC, the TCODE field now contains junk characters. How does the external system specify a 3.1I IDOC to prevent 4.6C from expecting a long TCODE field?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,

Answer:
Check your port definiition
see whether you have selected proper radia button
Answer:
I have set the port definition to version 3.0/3.1. Is this correct or should I set it to 4.x even though the sending systems still thinks it is a 3.1 system?
Thanks.
