Hi Guys,
In this environment there are near infinite numbers of combinations of the finished item (hence Variant Configuration).
Also, many orders are for a small number (even 1) of the finished item.
Production make around 1000 per day down exactly the same line with small variations in manual operations but no difference in the SAP routing.
In all the strategy groups for VC, the sales order line produces one planned order (for REM or conversion into production order).
Any suggestions as to how we can get to 1 planned order or production order per 1000 or day or shift or week or whatever?
In another stream in another forum, someone mentioned that LOGIC Plan is an external software which will take APO planned orders and amalgamate them into 1 planned/production order. Would anyone know anything about it? Any sales(wo)man out there?
