Hi,
I am using 'cremas01' idoc structure for distributing vendor information. However I have some extra non standard fields also to be distributed .I have created a extension type idoc but how can I assign it to the standard idoc 'cremas01'?
Basically I have created the extension IDOC & also created an exit using ' EXIT_SAPLKD01_001 ' for the Enhanced IDOC to distribute the extra customer fields.
Can someone tell what are the steps to be followed in this scenerio to complete the process of distributing the
extra data as well?

Hi sandy,
you have to assign extended segment to extension of idoc in we30.then assign the extension in we82 and in we21 also.then find a user exit for customer and populate the fileds,why u have created exit for that.

hi sandy,
as you are performing vendor master upload...just add ur extended msg type to the basic idoc type in we30...later on u select the msg type u created from the list box in the bd14 transaction(list box is automatically updated once you attach your msg type to basic idoc type) ...along with all the details mandatory in bd14....
