Hi,
I have the following error using the pub.client.ftp service in SAP BC:
com.wm.net.ftpCException: [B2BCORE.0064.9001] Could not connect to ftp server: sun.io.MalformedInputException
The input values are a valid IP, user, password, transfertype = passive.
The ftp server I want to connect to is located at a subsidiary, but I can ping the server and connect to the FTP directory, if I use IE e. g., but not from BC.
If I use a different IP (e. g. my own laptop with ftp server installed) I have no problem connecting.
Does anyone have an idea of a solution or can explain me what the error message is about?

Did you make the connection test to connect with ftp from the SAP BC Server to the server where you want to connect ???
If not, Use telnet to connect to your SAP BC server. After, try to connect with ftp to the server where you want to connect.

I don't really know what the problem was, but the CoreFix2, which I hadn't installed yet fixed it.
