Hi Gurus,
I have a question with data entry layouts. In my data entry layout i have used the data driven row structure where i have taken statistical items.
In the column i have taken predefined strcuture where i have taken the key figure Periodic Qnty and Unit of Measure (and specified PRS as the char value)
This layout i am not able to enter anything. There is a message there is a conflict in definition of predefined structures
When i leave out the PRS thing, i get a message
"The currency key (for /1FB/CS_TRN_QTY) does not exist"
I have checked the 0CS_TRN_QTY key figure its active and is defined as a Quantity in the data basis. Then what could be the problem?

In 5 different EC-CS / BCS projects, I have never used Data Entry Layouts - what did you use them for?

Hi,
Data Entry layouts is not for EC-CS. It is only for SEM thru BW. When r u r trying 2 have data from subsidiaries which are not in SAP, there is an option of getting the data (both financial and non-financial) thru BCS layouts (also called BCS Screens)
Ofcourse the other option is extraction thru BW, but to make it simpler we give them layouts...
