Hi Guys,
I am doing un upgrade to Live Cache 7.4 from 7.2.5 build 22 and I have some issues. I followed up the upgrade guide but it seems to be a little confusing and finally doesn't work.
1) Make a cold LC backup
2) Run LCUPDATE ( didn't prompt for restore as described in guide but in the log it seems it did the restore) no errors
3)Run SDBUPD no errors
4) LC software get upgraded to 7.4 but LC doesn't go from cold to warm state ( err_sql)
I restored and start again, try another scenario using DBMGUI to restore the LC cold backup after step 2) but in this case step 3) is failing ( Duplicate entries loading err_sql ) and finally the LC software version is not upgraded but the live cahe start in warm ( 7.2.5 version) Anybody with more experience? Hi,
We are planning to upgrade from LiveCache 7.2.x to 7.4. Currently we are running AIX 4.3.3 and the plan is to upgrade OS to AIX 5.2. Could you please share your experices on LiveCach Migration.
