User Control--Selection IDs in the Planning Book-- Help

Question: I will explain in detail

Our company needs control for a particular user-- Each user should see his own grouping of materials.

These are the characteristics which we are using
(1) Sales Org
(2) CUstomer Group 5--- ( ON the cust master in R/3, sales area data view-Additional data-- Customer GRP 1, 2, 3, 4,5)
(3) Product
(4) PRODUCT ALLOCATION OBJECT

we assign a user a particular planning book and data view-- SPPLBK
and we assign a user a particular number of selection IDS---MC77

PLS LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ANY OTHER DATA

In the selection ID TEST1, I say
SHOW ---------APO PRODUCT
that meets the following conditions
SALES ORG------- 0110
CUST GRP-------- USA

It shows say 15 materials and I save it.

Next in the selection ID TEST2, I say
SHOW ---------APO PRODUCT
that meets the following conditions
SALES ORG------- 0110
CUST GRP-------- BRA

It shows say 10 materials and there might be a overlap which our company doesnt need.
so there is risk of a user who is assigned a selection ID TEST2 can change the material across selectin IDS because the material is present in many selection IDS

How can we control this:

Option 1 ---- Include a MRP COntroller- DISADVANTAGES-- we dont use the MRP planner at the plant level , that is the reason we didnt have a characteristic as location.

Option 2----- Can we load a set of specific materials in the selection ids and create say 1000's of selection IDS and assign a specific set of selection IDS to a user PROFILE(USER ID)
OUR COMPANY DOESNT WANT TO USE THIS OPTIION.
PLS LET ME KNOW WHETHER WE CAN USE this option-- YES/NO

Is there any option???

Answer:
If you want to disaggregate completely by materials, I don't know any other way than to build selection profiles based on material or an attribute of material (i.e. a product line if you have one).

As I'm sure you know, any changes made to key figures through the second selection profile you mention would not change values in the first -- they are completely segregated because "USA" != "BRA."

One way to make maintenance of the selection profiles easier would be to define a navigational attribute based on material number. Someone would have to maintain the attribute table, but the maintenance of selection profiles becomes much easier.
