Crm Guys,
we are working one of the implementation project , i had problem with number ranges in BP,
in R/3 if you create a BP as sold-to-party it will generate a number, if u wish to change the same BP to ship-to-party it will changes to another number, in simillor way i created a BP in crm as a prospect and saved it generated a number based on defined number ranges, but when i extended the same to sold-to-party it wont change , customer asking number should be changed in crm also, why because based on this prospect they will create a quotation , here quotation not a single one, they will make 3 to 4 quotations , when they are making final quotation they have to use the sold-to-party as Bp.....here these are two requirements ....so one is while extending BP it should changes to new number like R/3 and after save the quotation it should allow me to change sold-to-party....can any body suggest on these....

Dude, first question:
How do you change the existing/newly created Sold to to ship to
A sold to should be the ship to by default. SO there is no way that the same Sold to and SHip to will have two different GUIDs and hence 2 BPs in CRM.
Dude try and create the BPs/ customers in R/3 and let it get replicated in CRM. This way you can control the duplication and other errors.
