Hi all,
We woudl like to free up some space in our database by deleting old CVCs and their related historic forecasts and demand data.
Does anyone out there have a proven approach to doing this without disrupting the current use of DP?

Although it is possible to get rid of all outdated CVCs directly in /sapapo/mc62 in a controlled manner (using list of Prod or Location), it is a good practice to ensure that selection IDs and transaction data are taken care of first. You can try going to table /sapapo/ts_selko and check all the selection IDs in DP planning books. I guess you have to look at each selection ID and ensure that the outdated products/locations are removed. Try to also get rid of transaction data (Time series) for old CVCs as well before you get rid of CVCs. Also do a TS consistency check once you do all the above steps with the repair option and ensure you get no discrepancies.
