Hi,
We have a Business Connector 4.7 installation with last patch(BC47_SR8). We make RFC calls to our SAP systems (function BAPI_REQUISITION_RELEASE_GEN) to release purchase requisitions.
We have used this process in a productive non-unicode system without problem. We are trying to make the same with a 4.7 unicode system. When we make the RFC call from BC to SAP the function is executed correctly but we don't get any information back from SAP. I guess that BC is not able to understand the codepage (UTF-16??) of the information that SAP gives back.
There are some notes regarding UNICODE and codepage problems with BC but they should be solved by our BC patch release.
Anyone knows how to solve this problem??

On what OS runs your SAP BC system? Is this Unicode patched?
Answer:
If you continue to have this type of problems then get mandant in for a day or two to resolve them for you.
